Brad Schoening commented on CASSANDRA-20478:
--------------------------------------------

It's not supported on the server, but the client CQLSH should (and does) run
fine in general.

> CQLSH throws an exception loading .cqlshrc on Windows

> AttributeError: module 'os' has no attribute 'getuid'. Did you mean: 'getpid'?
> {quote}
> The utility function is_file_secure() calls the function os.getuid() which is
> only implemented on Unix/Linux.  See
> [https://docs.python.org/3/library/os.html#os.getuid].
> This can be reproduced by:
> * First, create an empty file on Windows 'foo'
> {quote}python
> >>> from cqlshlib.util import is_file_secure
> >>> is_file_secure('foo')
> {quote}
