Such a method as NewQuery is not relevant anymore. I found it in one of the commits, but according to this implementation, it was used improperly (be4d993975b05311c683fcbd8f3e617b7647f2c7), but maybe it was changed. I can't even tell if it's a gocql, without commit hash, it's hard to be 100% sure. On the date of creation of the issue, the last commit doesn't have NewQuery. I don't think that it's still relevant.
