UPDATE: After rebasing (SAI), the tests hangs instead of failing! All in all, I
suspect this has something to do with {{FastThreadLocal}} being loaded by a
different class loader than we expect at some comparison point. I suppose that
it can be something in either simulation or distributed tests framework, don't
really know yet as my knowledge about that stuff is very limited.
