Now that CASSANDRA-18304 is committed I rebased this patch and resubmitted CI:

Also includes a
[commit|https://github.com/pauloricardomg/cassandra/commit/43e9f7c7932dbdb6b654be59fecd8300ccdbf2b]
to log node configuration on dtests, which allowed to verify that the
configuration is being properly set.
