[~brandon.williams] do you think we should write something to NEWS.txt for 5.0
to reflect that this was removed? Something in "Upgrading" section that people
should switch to Spark, or nothing at all? As [~dcapwell] approved the PR on
Github I am going to commit this but I am trying to put something appropriate
to NEWS.txt.
