We have seen some memory leaks in production that could be related to threading
issue that the fifth commit address. So I would love to see the 6 first commits
being committed. They look good to me. I do not have a strong opinion for the
last one but it might be because I ended up more familiar with the previous
version of the code. In any case thanks a lot for your investigation
[~pkolaczk]. It is some really nice work.
