Hi,
great you could reengage :-) I went over it and it looks mostly good to me, I
only have some lingering questions:
- We should add a note in docs about the removal, explanation and the
workaround for current Windows users. NEWS file is not enough imo. Otherwise
.bat scripts will just be gone with no explanation for them
- We should remove from docs all references to Windows (grep -ri window in doc
folder) imo
- We should run tests and also check test artifacts generation are not broken.
- Should we create a ticket to simplify the code by removing Windows support
from the code/pytests? There seems to be a bit of that
