Except that native cells don't actually test equality correctly against each
other (they treat each other as a CellName). This can itself be fixed, but was
considered fine at the time because we never actually have two native cells to
perform equality on, and it would require an extra step in the equality
function. I'm not 100% certain it's worth messing with. I'm comfortable doing
so in tandem with this patch if you prefer, though.
