It looks like the archive commitlogs were already created, so the linking
failed. The exact steps you took during upgrade might be interesting to look
at, so we can reproduce the problem. Deleting the
/var/lib/cassandra/archive/CommitLog*.log files that it's failing on would at
least be simple workaround.
