Yilialinn opened a new pull request, #475:
URL: https://github.com/apache/casbin-website/pull/475

   ## Summary

   - refresh the existing Apache APISIX and Casbin authorization tutorial while
retaining its original title and original author
   - add Yilia Lin as a co-author for the August 2026 refresh
   - update the APISIX Admin API port and credential handling, and add
reproducible allow, deny, policy-update, and cleanup checks
   - replace the undeclared upstream dependency with a deterministic,
route-local test
     response
   - update the Tutorials and middleware entries to use canonical project links

   ## Why

The existing Casbin-hosted APISIX tutorial documents a useful integration,
but
some commands and links are outdated and the original flow does not show a
complete, observable authorization lifecycle. Refreshing the existing page
keeps the established integration entry current without creating a duplicate
   guide.

   ## Validation

   - tested with Apache APISIX 3.17.0 across three clean Docker Compose starts
   - verified anonymous access: HTTP 200
   - verified `bob` is denied before the policy update: HTTP 403
   - verified `alice` is allowed through the `admin` role: HTTP 200
   - verified the metadata update allows `bob` without changing the route:
     HTTP 200
   - verified route and plugin-metadata cleanup
   - passed Markdown/MDX lint, JavaScript ESLint, `git diff --check`, and the
     English Docusaurus production build

   ## Notes

   - The `mocking` plugin is used only as a deterministic test fixture and runs
after `authz-casbin`; it is not presented as production upstream behavior.
   - The original 2021 publication date and Rushikesh Tote's authorship are
     retained.

   ## Generative tooling disclosure

This contribution was prepared with assistance from OpenAI Codex. I reviewed
the final diff. The documented configuration and expected results were
reproduced in a version-pinned local environment.
