Because nobody picked it nor shown any interest in fixing it. Now that you have shown an interest - I will reopen it - but acoording to our rules it will be closed after some time of inactivity again. If you want to work on it - no problem, we can reopen it and assign it to you. Or if you are not able to work on it maybe you can find someone to work on ti @MikeKulls2 - Airflow is created by > 3000 contributors and any one of them can pick up any task and work on it, so the most certain way of having something like that fixed is to contribute it, second best is to find someone and encourage them to fix, other than that - somoene will have to pick an interest in fixing this issue.
