Dear all, As part of the project Europeana v 3.0 Juliane Stiller from Humboldt University and Antoine Isaac (Europeana Foundation, VU Amsterdam) have written a White Paper on Best Practices for multilingual access to digital libraries.
A whole task was dedicated to researching multilingual best practices in the cultural heritage domain. A White Paper summarizes the main findings and state-of-the-art practices we found. This will instruct Europeana’s future work to tackle language issues. It is quite the endeavor as Europeana has content in over 30 languages and strives to ensure that everyone can access all the content by searching in their native language. Now, we are looking for your input and experience with multilingual data and multilingual users. Help us turn this White Paper into a global effort by contributing your expert knowledge!
