Position Opening: Digital Repository Librarian California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo
Position Description: The Robert E. Kennedy Library at California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, seeks an energetic, collaborative, dynamic, and flexible individual for the position of DIGITAL REPOSITORY LIBRARIAN. This position is responsible for the implementation, growth, and development of the library's new institutional repository initiative, including developing and securing content, communicating with and providing support to repository contributors and users, drafting repository policies and procedures, working with Library Information Technology and vendor(s) to ensure system functionality, and establishing workflow and other procedures according to best practices and established standards. Responsibilities: 30% Liaison/Outreach Activities 30% Content Management 30% Project Management 10% Other Activiies Salary Range: Rank and salary will be commensurate with the qualifications and experience of the selected individual. Anticipated possible hiring ranges include Assistant Librarian ($45,000-$50,000/year), Senior Assistant Librarian ($55,000-$60,000/year), Associate Librarian ($65,000-$70,000/year).
