Thanks for doing this. Did you also send it to the people that already
expressed interest (or confirm they were on this list)? I think most of
them are on the code4lib list, but I'm not positive.

The Code4Lib Conference Planning Group [1] is putting out a
call for proposals to host the 2008 Code4Lib Conference.
Information on the kind of venue we seek can be found at our
web page on hosting the conference [2].
The deadline for proposals is Friday, February 16, 2007 to
allow time for a decision prior to Code4Lib 2007. You can
apply by making your pitch to the Code4Lib Conference
Planning list [3]. A decision will be made the following
week. May the best site win!
