Hello everyone,  

The National Film and Sound Archive of Australia and the program committee 
invite members of the AI4LAM (Artificial Intelligence, for Libraries, Archives, 
Museums) community, practitioners in the GLAM (Galleries, Libraries, Archives, 
Museums) sector and Digital Humanities, Arts & Social Science, Data, 
Information and Computer Science researchers in Higher Education to submit 
proposals for presentations and workshops.    

Submissions <https://nfsa.jotform.com/240638863429062> are invited from 
colleagues around the world representing a range of organisations, collections, 
interest and experience with Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning 
(ML) technologies applied to or developed with cultural, research and heritage 
collections. 

Get started thinking about your papers and workshops.  

We look forward to seeing you in Canberra, Australia in October!  

Overall Theme:
Artificial intelligence in the future of work in the GLAMs (Galleries, 
Libraries, Archives and Museums).   

Lenses given priority for conference submissions are those that cover aspects 
of history, language and culture relating to place, especially in the 
Australasian context, and diverse themes and topics are provided to reflect the 
ways AI & ML are being explored.  

Please submit proposals targeted at the intersection of theory and practice in 
the application of AI technologies in the context of cultural, research and 
heritage collections. 

Timeline:
Call for proposals closes: 30 April 2024 
Proposals reviewed by the program committee: 20 May 2024 
Proposal acceptances: 31 May 2024
