Automating COUNTER Reports with Python: Save Time in Evaluating Your Statistics

DESCRIPTION

Harvesting COUNTER-compliant usage statistics is time-consuming, and compiling
these statistics for reporting is just as tedious. Have you considered
automating some of this process with Python? At CSUF, we evaluate our
subscriptions with Harrasowitz—a subscription manager, and a massive report
gets put together to evaluate the library’s investments. This process is
imperfect and could be done differently, but the Python script helps compile
these statistics a little easier. This webinar is intended for libraries that
do not have a SUSHI client but can also be helpful for SUSHI harvested usage
reports.
