On Sept. 19th at 4pm ET, Library of Congress Innovator in Residence Jeffrey Yoo
Warren will host the virtual event “Seeing Lost Enclaves: A Virtual Visit of
Providence’s Historic Chinatown”. For the past year, Jeff has been creating
relational reconstructions of historic
Chinatowns<https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n5f2JwnqFak> with archives and local
communities, and developing an educational toolkit to share his method,
premiering in conjunction with this event.

The virtual walkthrough will include a short presentation from the artist, and
a guided tour through the neighborhood and some of its buildings. We especially
welcome questions and reflections from Asian American visitors who may have
personal relationships and family stories in this and similar enclaves of color.

Registration for this zoom event is
