Hello everyone,

This is a quick reminder that there is one more week to get applications in for
AI4LAM's 2023 Fantastic Futures Conference Call for Proposals. The call will
close in one week, on 14 August 2023. Jefferson Bailey from the host
institution, Internet Archives Canada, has written:

"The program committee is looking for talks, presentations, and workshop
proposals on the topic of artificial intelligence as applied to libraries,
archives, and museums. The conference aims to bring together a diverse group of
participants including professionals from LAMs, as well as researchers,
scholars, practitioners, industry representatives, policy and advocacy groups,
and others interested in the application of artificial intelligence (AI) in
memory organizations and the preservation and access of knowledge. The
conference will be an opportunity to share current experiences in AI, from
practical local uses, to institutional best practices, education and training,
partnerships and collaboration, tools and technologies, and other issues
impacting cultural and scientific heritage. The event also encourages
applications from those with different levels of institutional maturity when it
comes to understanding and deploying AI and encourages proposals and
participants from a diversity of institution types, sizes, and especially
geographic location."

Full details on proposal types and possible topics can be found on the
conference website: https://ff2023.archive.org/pages/call_for_proposals/ and
applications can be made via the CfP submission link:

With best wishes,
