Hello all,

There are only nine (9) days left for regular conference registration rates for
NASIG’s 38th annual conference in Pittsburgh, PA from May 22-25!

Register soon to secure your place at the lowest rate for what promises to be
an excellent and informative event. The Omni William Penn, a beautiful and
historic hotel in vibrant downtown Pittsburgh, will be our location. We have
negotiated conference rates (a reservation link to secure these conference
rates is included in your conference registration confirmation email).

NASIG is also excited to announce additions to vendor sponsors for #nasig2023
and therefore an expanded Vendor Expo. ACM Open, Health Affairs, Oxford
University Press, OCLC, and Taylor & Francis will join us, in addition to
previously announced sponsors: ACS Publications, AIP Publishing, Bloomsbury
Digital Resources, EBSCO, JoVE, Harrassowitz, IOP Publishing, Lyrasis, Project
Muse, Springer Nature, Wiley, and W.T. Cox. In addition to being conference
sponsors, Harrassowitz and EBSCO have pledged to sponsor two winners of our
Equity & Inclusion Award. We are grateful for such strong support from our
colleagues.

Interested in what we have planned? Check out the full schedule at
https://nasig2023.sched.com/ and be sure to register by going to
https://www.nasig.org/38conference. Several interesting and timely concurrent
sessions are planned and we have also included focused workshops from well
known speakers in the regular schedule. Lisa Janicke Hinchliffe will present on
Privacy, User Data, and Library Licensing. Steve Shadle will teach us about
electronic serials cataloging. Claire Dygert will focus on Building Your
Licensing & Negotiation Toolbox. Michael Rodriguez will talk about Evaluating
Open Access Investment Opportunities for Your Library.

Stay tuned for future communications about Pittburgh’s many cultural
opportunities, as well as updates to the conference schedule including added
Vision Session speakers and other great features. We hope you’ll join us!
Steve
