Debriefs and Retrospectives for Evaluating Library Projects and Services - 
April 19, 2023, 1 pm - 3 pm CDT
All ongoing library projects and programs deserve evaluation. When a project 
concludes or a large event wraps up, it is important to pause, gather feedback, 
and define the next steps. Debriefs and retrospectives are powerful tools for 
documenting library success and engaging library teams in continuous 
improvement. Learn the fundamentals of debriefs and retrospectives and plan for 
their implementation into existing workflows. Learning objectives for this 
session include: Defining the role of debriefs and retrospectives in libraries; 
Initiating tools and resources for implementation; Accessing debrief and 
retrospective templates for immediate use.

Web Design and Accessibility - April 25 & 27, 2023 2 pm - 4 pm CDT
Websites are accessible only when all visitors can access the presented 
information regardless of abilities or impairments. By understanding the 
fundamentals of web accessibility and the regulations, laws, and standards 
surrounding accessibility design, libraries can move toward more equitable 
services for all patrons. With an overview of the tools and technologies for 
better design and best practices for content development libraries can make 
their content open to all. Learning objectives for this session include: 
Identifying barriers to using the web and solutions that would improve the 
situation; Understanding the legal landscape regarding accommodations for 
people of all abilities in the context of website design; Creating an 
accessibility plan for improving navigation and use of websites.
