I borrowed another's micro-C cable and it works like a charm. Even found one for $7 on Amazon! Deborah - in my neck of the woods all the electronics stores are gone. Do you have any you use in your area you might suggest? I ask because the last one here (closed during this Covid) would ship to buyers from elsewhere.
