The Virginia Commonwealth University Libraries invites applications and nominations for the position of Senior Metadata Strategy Librarian. The Senior Metadata Strategy Librarian provides collaborative leadership and innovative oversight of metadata and cataloging, authority control, and collections discovery. The successful candidate will join a culturally and academically diverse faculty of the highest caliber. The successful candidate will define standards for excellence for metadata services, and ensure optimum discovery of physical, electronic, and digital collections. The successful candidate will join 3 faculty and 7 professional staff as a member of the Resource Acquisition and Metadata Services department.
