Hi all,

Has anyone successfully deployed Adobe Digital Editions to their loanable
chromebooks? I've seen some evidence of it working in various blogs but our IT
department who manages the approved apps list isn't confident it will work. And
since we need to be confident it will work before it's approved to install, and
we can't install until we're confident, but we can't test it without
installing... is anyone currently circulating chromebooks that have Digital
Editions installed?

Context: our chromebooks circulate like hotcakes and we'd like to get more and
offer them for longer loan periods - a week, maybe a month, etc. But since
we're also transitioning to an ebook-heavy collection we wanted to ensure that
students would have offline access to anything they had downloaded, and nearly
all of our DRM'd ebooks require Adobe Digital Editions. There's an Android app
that could serve this purpose but I can't install it to test.

Thanks,
