Using the STKaiti-SC-Black font (display name: Kaiti SC Black) (in TextEdit,
Font Book, or whatever) I get lines like this:

[some app] CoreText: Invalid ‘amor’ Subtable In name = STKaiti-SC-Black, size =
36.000000, matrix = 0x0, descriptor = <CTFontDescriptor:
0x60800009dba0>{attributes = <CFBasicHash 0x608000465900 [0x7fff765b9ed0]>{type
= mutable dict, count = 1,
entries =>
        2 : <CFString 0x7fff766786f0 [0x7fff765b9ed0]>{contents =
"NSFontNameAttribute"} = <CFString 0x60800004f0c0 [0x7fff765b9ed0]>{contents =
"STKaiti-SC-Black"}
}
>}

Does this mean that the font is corrupted? Font Book → File → Validate Font
reports no problems.

This font may be part of the “additional asian fonts” which are only installed
on demand.

Gerriet.
