Forgive me if this is a really dumb question, I haven't tried to do this in eons.
I added a .xib to my existing project; it doesn't use a storyboard. The iPhone .xibs are mostly done but I realized that a couple are missing for the iPad. I click on the .xib in the list to the left, then I get a blank view in the middle. I enter "view" in the object library and get a choice of iOS View or Cocoa View. I draft the iOS View pane over my view in the editor pane then let go of the button. The outline of the iOS View pane zips back to the library list. My plan after adding the view was to change the custom view type to "LifeView", which is already implemented in my app. Clearly I am doing something wrong but I don't know what. It is quite difficult to use google to find help for specific versions of Xcode - I'll put in "xcode 6" in quotes, but then get a page about Xcode 4. -- Michael David Crawford, Consulting Software Engineer mdcrawf...@gmail.com http://www.warplife.com/mdc/ Available for Software Development in the Portland, Oregon Metropolitan Area. _______________________________________________ Cocoa-dev mailing list (Cocoa-dev@lists.apple.com) Please do not post admin requests or moderator comments to the list.
