Friends, Binky Melnik was one of the sysops of the CompuServe Macintosh Developers Forum back in the day.
She's had some quiet serious health problems the last little while. Fortunately, as a veteran of the US Air Force her medical care is being taken care of by Uncle Sam. If you were ever a friend of Binky's, when she did QA at Apple, or Web Design in New York City, you would do her a great kindness to get back in touch. She and I have met in person only once, roughly twenty years ago, but we have corresponded quite a lot over the years. She has been very helpful to me personally, in criticizing my writing. Binky is quite shy and introverted; one might not think so given the public persona she presents but really she is quite fragile. Be gentle with her. Look up the term "Active Listening".
