Any time you ask a question about an error or exception, you should include the 
actual text. (You can get it from the Log Navigator pane in Xcode.) “Something 
about identifiers” isn’t very much to go on.

It sounds like you’re asking for a tutor. Generally one offers payment for that 
kind of service. If you’re just asking people on a public mailing list for 
advice, they are perfectly justified in suggesting you consult an external 
reference instead, especially when you are (apparently) making very basic 
mistakes like confusing objects with numbers. 

In short, that statement comes off as very entitled, which is only going to 
make people less interested in helping you.
