In my comments about developers relying on the recommendations of the porting guide I am not talking about ME - duh! So please no one tell me again how I've been told it's wrong and am ignoring that at my own peril. The point I continue to make is that any straggler thinking about migrating to 64-bit, and not aware of this discussion, will only see what the porting guide currently states, which is that you may not want to move to 64-bit. I am not going to do that. There are lots of Apple folk on this list who should be taking action, if action is warranted. If the situation is as dire as claimed, they should be scrambling to get it fixed.
