Probably what you want to do is what you suggest - make an object. Other options include an array of arrays, of dictionaries, or of nsvalue instances containing structs. Depending on your needs. Try an object first. On Apr 16, 2012 10:25 PM, "Rick C." <rickcort...@gmail.com> wrote: > > Hi, > > So I'm working on a view-based nstableview and for the first time I will be using group rows. Any tips on how to manage the data? What I mean is normally I can just return [dataArray count] and [dataArray objectAtIndex:row] for the required methods and that will get the job done. But since a group row counts as an actual row (right?) would you recommend inserting group row objects into my main dataArray? Or maybe maintain a separate array with group row objects? But this would throw off how I normally would do it. Any tips on how you all do it would be great thanks! > > rc > _______________________________________________ > > Cocoa-dev mailing list (Cocoa-dev@lists.apple.com) > > Please do not post admin requests or moderator comments to the list. > Contact the moderators at cocoa-dev-admins(at)lists.apple.com > > Help/Unsubscribe/Update your Subscription: > https://lists.apple.com/mailman/options/cocoa-dev/allyn.bauer%40gmail.com > > This email sent to allyn.ba...@gmail.com _______________________________________________
