I used "Show Image Background" and now see a checker board (white + medium gray) behind my red character 'a'. Does this mean the background is indeed transparent? Other files (which I believe to have alpha) show a checkered background of light and dark gray. And when I use File → Export... and choose png, I do not see a checkbox for alpha, and the png file seems to have a white background (does not react to "Show Image Background"). Kind regards, Gerriet. _______________________________________________ Cocoa-dev mailing list (Cocoa-dev@lists.apple.com) Please do not post admin requests or moderator comments to the list.
