Not sure what the connection is to Cocoa development, but FWIW I've noticed
that when I start a burst of fast typing in a text field, sometimes my first
character appears somewhere in the middle or at the end. It's as if something
is screwing up the event queue. I can understand if there's a lag for some
reason before my events can be processed, but it kind of erodes my confidence
in the system when my keystrokes aren't processed in the right order.

I'm quite sure it isn't due to mistyping. It's a definite pattern where the
first character appears multiple characters later and the other characters are
in the correct order. I should file a Radar.
