>From OS/X man pages and I'm thinking this probably works as well on iOS, although I didn't test it: http://developer.apple.com/library/mac/#documentation/Darwin/Reference/ManPages/man4/stdout.4.html So e.g., stdout would be /dev/stdout. See if that works for you...
