Thanks Kyle. I simply wasn't expecting that -awakeFromNib would be called from inside the NIB being loaded. I hadn't figured out that the "File's owner" placeholder was considered to be a *real* object, and not just, as the name implied, a mere placeholder (or link). Have a nice day!
