FWIW, there are a bunch of compiler warnings that gcc generates that
clang does not (and vice versa).  Also, there are gcc warning flags that
clang accepts but silently ignores.  Best to build with both compilers
from time to time.

And I encourage you to file bugs, they are very responsive.
