Sorry for a vague question, but... a while back there was a discussion of (I *think*) NSNotificationCenter. Whatever it was, someone wrote their own version and was happy with the results. Can anyone (like, say the author) refresh my memory on what that was, and the motivation for writing the workalike version?
I ask because I brought it up in a conversation tonight and realized I didn't really remember what the heck I was talking about!
