Currently we don’t explicitly state where things are NOT kvo compliant. We document where they are. We plan on changing that at some point, so that we indicate where KVO is definitely documented Yes or No for each property. It’s only currently becoming pervasive enough to take those steps. It’s true that the CALayer doc doesn’t specify this. But I’ll double check with engineering.
