A minor correction. This should either be:

        int fieldOne = [ [ managedObject valueForKey:@"key1"] intValue];

or:

        NSInteger fieldOne = [ [ managedObject valueForKey:@"key1"] 
integerValue];

Otherwise the code is not quite portable between 32- and 64-bit architectures.
