Not sure but any chance you target the iPhone? The 10.6 SDK header contains
this:

@interface NSObject(NSDeprecatedKeyValueObservingCustomization)
+ (void)setKeys:(NSArray *)keys

Note you should use alternatives since 10.5, see docs for more information:
