What I need is a table where some columns show images as data. It should be possible to drag images and image files onto these cells.
I implemented the table as an NSTableView with NSImageCells, I know about the standard drag and drop for table rows. However, I am clueless about how to use cells as dragging destination. Am I supposed to subclass NSTableView, and implement drag and drop, including all gory details? Are there any examples available? Is there another view more suitable for what I'm trying to achieve?
