(null) sold (null) because (null) I'm guessing that titleLabel, boxOfficeGrossLabel and summaryLabel are UI elements of some sort, in which case the most likely explanation is that you haven't hooked them up (to your object) in Interface Builder, or that you haven't loaded the nib that contains them yet.
