I heard some rumors that Input Managers do no longer work on Snow Leopard.

So I asked Xcode 3.2 for "Input Managers" and got lots of documents which contain the words "input" and "manager" but found no information about "Input Managers".

If this rumor is indeed true: what is a recommended way to replace Input Managers in Snow Leopard?

What I am trying to accomplish: I would like to modifiy apps (e.g. TextEdit) to put miniaturized windows NOT into the dock, but on the bottom of the screen (the way it was done in NeXTstep).

Kind regards,

Gerriet.
