Hi, List,
I know that this is not the suitable list to ask this kind of
question, but I really do not know where to post it. Thanks for your
allowance.

I have a Mac Pro, the Boot Rom version is MP31.006C.B05, the system
requirement of this firmware version is Mac OS X 10.5.2.
I have a Mac OS X Install Disc which comes from a iMac, the system
version is 10.5.6.

But I can not install this system on the Mac Pro. when the disk is
inserted to the DVD, after reading a while, the Mac Pro tell me to power
restart.
also, I can not install 10.4 on this Mac Pro, but I can install 10.6
successfully on it.
I am sure that the disc and the DVD are OK.

What should I do now? I have no idea about this. I have used this Mac
Pro to install 10.6 before, but now I have formatted the disk.

    Sorry for that!

Andrew
