Have a look into some ADC documentation, e.g.
"Creating RESTful Web Service Clients in Cocoa and Cocoa Touch"

- written for RoR but it does not really matter here. What is important is how requests are built on client side. It guides everyone with some server side knowledge through Cocoa/Cocoa Touch client side code very nicely starting from GET requests,
