By the way, it is not clear what path means in Apple's document. For
some part of the document they use the term "path" for URL string or
vice versa.

..." and makes "file:/localhost/..../..../....".
Those are not paths - those are URL strings. Convert them to paths
first if you want to use the various string path manipulation
routines.
