Sorry. In this case I wasn't referring to any specific technique. By "trampoline" I just meant a method that did have the appropriate signature to be invoked by performSelector:withObject:afterDelay:. For example, one which takes no arguments and then turns around and invokes [self activateIgnoringOtherApps:YES].
