Immediately after OS X boots and gets logged in, there is quite a lot of disk activity. I'd like to be able to detect this and delay the start of processing for a background app.
Basically it needs to wait the 30-60 seconds or so until the OS is doing less and has "settled down". Is there a good way to do this from Cocoa?
