If you're interested, you can get the correct 'blue' colour for the hyperlink like this: ICAttr attr; RGBColor rgbColour; size = sizeof(RGBColor); err = ICGetPref (icInstance, kICWebUnreadColor, &attr, &rgbColour, &size); (Old API, but still the best way AFAIK.
