Thanks alot, that worked out well as far as a single value goes. :) How does one create a value transformer for multiple values? Do you need to write a transformer for each value in the chain, etc.?

It could also return something like "(nothing selected)" when there's no selection. The "some number other than 0" might be NSNoSelectionMarker, so you could check against that in your value transformer.
