Since you don't have a support incident available, you'll pretty much have no choice but to rely on either engineers replying to your radar ticket with a work-around or some generous soul to burn one of their own incidents to help you. Barring such generosity, you found - and are suffering from - the bug, so you're in the best position to describe it to Apple engineers and post their inevitable response if they have a work-around. "Developer heal thyself," as it were. If there is no work-around, then yeah, it's not very gratifying, but you don't know whether there is or not, so five minutes of your time may pay off.
