It also appears that Leopard has added some support for this within AppKit itself... three new methods were added to NSView:
-(BOOL)enterFullScreenMode:(NSScreen *)screen withOptions: (NSDictionary *)options;
-(void)exitFullScreenModeWithScreen:(NSScreen *)screen; -(BOOL)isInFullScreenMode;I just tried them out and they were pretty easy and seemed to work well enough. I didn't even bother with the options, just sent:
if( ![myView enterFullScreenMode:[NSScreen mainScreen] withOptions:nil] ) { /* error out */ }
